Ceren Saner

Ceren Saner (She/Her) (b 1991, Istanbul) is a self-taught lens-based artist.
In her photography and video works Saner explores and navigates life through the lens; her works have a predominantly autobiographical element to them.
She migrated to Berlin after getting invited by 7LettersCollective as an artist, and started #isntitlovethetour around Germany and Europe that continued for 3 years.
Soon after, her first solo exhibition in Germany opened at the end of 2019.
Finally, in January 2020, Saner published her first photo-book “Inside The Ring” independently, created out of her on-going body of work from Berlin.
Saner is interested in making/producing artist books as an extension of her practice, where she treats this medium as another creative entity.
She is currently researching about intra-acting interventions, installing imagery to the public sphere and
re-interpreting family archives as found footage.
