Luna Embodied Sexuality

Luna Embodied Sexuality is Alexandra Rivera Luna — a medical doctor, sex educator, and somatic  Experiencing® practitioner-in-training  She supports people in reconnecting with their bodies, boundaries, and desires through a trauma-sensitive and justice-rooted approach to sexuality. Her work centers emotional safety, embodied awareness, and inclusive healing, with a clear commitment to anti-oppressive and decolonial practice.

Bringing together medical knowledge, somatic education, and nervous system literacy, Alexandra bridges science with sensitivity. She understands sexuality as inseparable from our lives — a living expression of emotions, histories, and dreams. Her guidance invites curiosity, touch, breath, and movement as pathways to more authentic, shame-free relationships with ourselves and others.

At the XO Creators Hub, she shares monthly videos that offer grounded tools for exploring embodied sexuality — from nervous system regulation in intimacy, to practicing consent with presence, to unlearning internalized shame. Her content speaks to queer, trans, nonbinary, neurodivergent folks, survivors, seekers, and the simply curious.

Her approach is shaped by teachings from thinkers and practitioners such as Adrienne Maree Brown, Emily Nagoski, Peter Levine and Emilia Roig, and is grounded in Taoist and Tantric body philosophies. She honors Indigenous, Black feminist, and non-Western lineages that inform much of the somatic and trauma work she engages with — while continually unlearning and relearning in the service of decolonizing her own education.

She joined the platform to create space for slow, soulful, and pleasure-centered learning. Through her videos, Alexandra invites you to meet your body as a site of wisdom — one breath, one sensation, one empowered choice at a time.
